Hays has partnered with an industry leading technology company who are now seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Brisbane .

Your current role
In your role, you will be accountable for proactively driving process improvements and managing financial projects necessary for successful business operations.
Some of your core duties would include:

- End-of-month closing processes
- Ensure general ledger integrity
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparation of BAS and FBT lodgements
- Assist in the preparation of income tax returns.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve enquiries related to financial matters, provide solutions-based approach and initiatives to future-proof financial operations and procedures.
- Participation in special projects and support any ad-hoc requests




- Be a key contributor to the Xero replacement program when this commences

What you'll need to succeed

- Relevant experience
- Experience in Tax
- CA/CPA qualification
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree
