This e-commerce business is fast-paced and ever evolving, so you will enjoy the thrills of exciting new projects and collaboration across the team of 50.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinate month end timetable and manage month end close presentation to the Financial Controller
- Manage the preparation and delivery on the monthly Management pack and other financial reporting requirements
- Partner with department managers to ensure expenditure is in line with budget expectations
- Co-ordinate external compliance and reporting requirements (GST, BAS, FBT, etc)
- Inventory management
- Fixed Asset and capital expenditure management
- Provide reporting,
analysis and data driven insights to the Executive Leadership Team to assist with decision-making
- General Ledger and ERP maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be CPA or CA qualified and ideally have a background in retail/FMCG within a similar role. Strong technical financial accounting/reporting skills alongside commercial acumen in analysis will see you thrive in this role. This is a hands-on role so the desire to take full ownership and responsibility over your work will also be necessary.
