About the Role
This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join this dynamic, growing business, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a broad and interesting role allowing you to play an integral part in ensuring that the company’s finances are robust and capable of supporting future growth plans on a global basis.
With your exceptional modelling and analytical skills, you will manage complex three-way financial models, conduct detailed financial analysis, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making at the highest level. The SFA will also lead the analysis of commercial opportunities, including pricing and product profitability, and will be responsible for monthly reporting to the Board. You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial frameworks are robust and capable of supporting ambitious global growth plans.
Primary Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Maintain 3-statement models with a focus on strong cash flow analysis, key metrics, and enterprise valuations.
- Provide critical analysis to forecasts, with appropriate sensitivity,
to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Develop client profitability analysis and department analysis. Provide insights to uplift underperforming departments.
- Manage monthly reporting to the business, including Board reporting.
- Maintain bank covenant models to ensure compliance and optimise financial arrangements.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive databooks across the group.
- Support due diligence on potential acquisitions, providing critical insights and recommendations to senior management.
About the Person
The ideal candidate will have a background in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services, ideally coming from a Big Four or Mid-Tier firm (CA/CFA qualified). You are a highly analytical individual with a robust attention to detail and have the ability to produce high-quality reports that meet the expectations of the PE investors with exceptional financial modelling skills.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly evolving company. Your ability to challenge existing processes and bring new ideas to the table will be crucial in driving the company forward. You will have demonstrated experience in advising on due diligence for acquisitions and a proven ability to develop and manage bank covenant models. Experience in private equity and familiarity with investment analysis will be advantages.
