Your new role
Assisting the finance manager, you will oversee and support the finance team to ensure all functions are executed in a qualified, confidential, and timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices by accounts payable.
- Ensure all financial records are current, accurately documented.
- Contribute to training and development of the finance department, ensuring the business continually grows and develops.
- Ensure operations are conducted in a timely, confidential, and professional manner, in accordance with statutory, legal and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and create monthly reports for management.
- Assist in yearly audits and budget processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in accounting or similar field. You will also:
- Hold or working towards a CA/CPA.
- Proven experience in similar accounting role.
- Prior experience in a leadership position, preferred but not essential.
- Have a current SA drivers' licence, police clearance, and WWCC.
