Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of elderly and disabled clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Role:
As an Administration & Payroll Assistant/Scheduler, you will represent the company as the first point of contact, provide support to various departments, manage rosters of care staff and review timesheets and payroll data for care staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attend to incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails to the company phone line
- Co-ordinate and manage rosters of care staff and arrange ad-hoc/emergency shifts as they arise
- Communicate with care staff, clients, representatives, and case managers to ensure smooth provision of services
- Provide support and guidance to care staff
- General administrative tasks including data entry, filing and mailing
- Reviewing times & travel details logged by field care staff in accordance with the SCHADS or other applicable awards
- Assist with other payroll matters
- Assist with delivery of items to clients or staff
This is a full-time role on a 12-month contract (maternity leave cover position).
Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
You will be based at our office in Mount Waverley.
Key traits of a successful candidate:
- Experience in administration, customer service and/or scheduling role
- Strong communication, professionalism, and confidence over the phone
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle last-minute changes and resolve unforeseen matters
- Negotiation skills to resolve complex problems in a collaborative manner
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously within a demanding environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Strong eye for detail to ensure staff receive correct payments
- High IT skills to adapt to different software and online platforms
- Understanding of the SCHADS award and Fair Work matters is preferred
- Proactiveness, enthusiasm and motivation to add to an energetic and growing organisation
Requirements:
- National Police Check (obtained within 3 months) or NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Victorian Drivers Licence
- Right to work in Australia
