About the Role
You will provide a full range of administrative support to the Radiology Department as required in accordance with the policies, procedures and values of St Vincent’s Health, including but not limited to reception, patient accounts, result distribution and audio typing.
Duties for the position include:
Reception duties, answering telephone and email queries.
Projecting SVPR’s caring, professional image to patients and referring clinicians.
Efficient patient scheduling/allocation of appointments which enables maximal utilisation of equipment and staff.
Registration of patient arrival for his/her examination along with peripheral tasks to ensure an efficient and speedy passage through the department.
Telephone enquiries and direction of calls to the appropriate areas of the department when necessary.
Accurate and timely medical audio typing of dictated reports.
Distribution of verified reports by phone, fax,
courier or electronically.
The classification for this position will be HS1 ($58,442) per annum.

Previous administration experience
VCE or equivalent
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About St Vincent’s Private Radiology
St Vincent’s Private Radiology (SVPR) is a separate co-located private practice offering all diagnostic modalities to inpatients of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital and privately referred outpatients. SVPR also provides the imaging service requirements to the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
SVPR performs a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general, vascular, musculoskeletal and obstetrics.
