Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is seeking individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering care and service to join our Operating Theatre Team as an Administration Officer.
This role is on a Temporary Full-time basis as an Administration Officer to cover a period of Maternity Leave
Working on a Monday to Friday basis, this role forms the primary point of contact for all those coming into our Operating Theatres and will suit someone with excellent customer service and administrative skills looking for a agile role working alongside multiple stakeholders to ensure the operating theatres run smoothly and efficiently.

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is an 98 bed, 7 operating theatres acute surgical hospital that serves the needs of the local community at Liverpool and surrounds. Services provided include Surgical Day Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Maternity and Special Care Nursery facilities, Oncology Unit as well as a Mental Health Unit.

As the Operating Theatre Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include:
All administrative tasks in the operating suite
Assistance with Theatre bookings
Input operation usage into the patient management system
Maintain effective filing systems of archived documentation, current documentation and electronic data.
Maintain and update theatre allocations and lists
Any duties deemed necessary by the Perioperative Services Manager
Essential Criteria:
Experience in a hospital administration workplace preferred
Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills and high level attention to detail
Flexibility, reliability and ability to work under pressure
Excellent time management skills with an ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
A basic understanding of Medical Terminology

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope – Health Professional & Supports Services – Enterprise Agreement – 2017 - 2021
