About the Role:

Our team brings data and information to life, providing vital insights to keep communities safe from fire. As the Administrative Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective cross-disciplinary mail service for CFA members. This includes coordinating our mail service from receipt to dispatch, all from our headquarters in Burwood.
Not only will you be an integral part of our mail service, but you will also ensure that information management lifecycle requirements for mail are actioned.

About You:
The Administrative Support Officer manages the CFA headquarters mailroom services, including coordinating and processing all incoming and outgoing mail, handling confidential reports, and maintaining mailroom supplies. They ensure efficient transmission of mail and maintain a high level of service delivery to all internal and external CFA members.
You will offer:
- Relevant experience in office administration activities with attention to detail and accuracy with figures.
- Proven initiative and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight and conflicting deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with focus on delivering accurate advice and information.
- Computer literate, with some experience with a range of software applications including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and MS Outlook.
