Australian Mechanical is a highly reputable mechanical workshop on Pickering Street in Enoggera, Brisbane. We encompass all things Mechanical and Auto Electrical, as well as Motor Dealership.

Due to ongoing growth, we are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This hands-on role is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to pursue a career in the automotive industry and who has a knack for administration and providing exceptional customer service.

The workshop is a highly paced and busy environment and as our Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact with customers, both face-to-face and over the phone.

Day-to-day tasks will be varied and include:

+ Greeting customers and managing phone enquiries and bookings
+ Keeping customers up-to-date on service or repair work progress and pricing
+ Ordering and sourcing parts from suppliers
+ Monthy creditors reconciliation
+ Social media engagement
+ Assisting with payroll
+ General receptionist and administrative duties




+ Preparation of motor dealership paperwork and associated marketing and administrative tasks.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

+ Experience in a similar administrative role (automotive industry knowledge advantageous)
+ Customer service experience essential
+ Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills
+ The ability to multi-task and work in a busy and quick paced environment
+ A willingness to learn and work as a member of a team
+ Flexible working hours - minimum 25 hours
