About the role:
Victoria Police is currently advertising one (1) full-time, VPSG-2 position within Southern Metro Region, Division Three (Cardinia, Greater Dandenong and Casey Police Service Areas).
As the successful applicant, your primary role will be as an Administrative/Property Officer within Southern Metro Division Three with initial duties at Dandenong Police Station.

Your duties will include:
* Perform a variety of computerised administrative tasks.
* Attend enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, provide initial information and advice as required.
* Receive, record and distribute mail and correspondence.
* Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures as required.
* If required, undertake a range of functions around the receipt, management and disposal of property items in accordance with police policy and relevant legislation.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
* Experience in working with computers and systems to perform a range of administrative tasks including, records management, data entry tasks.
* Must have the ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records.
* Positive communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both orally and in writing.
* Ability to work successfully within a team environment and ability to work independently.
* Prioritisation skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Requirements and relevant information:
* One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
* This position is located at the Dandenong Police Complex, 50 Langhorne St, Dandenong, VIC, 3175.
* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
* The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
* In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer's Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated (this includes a booster vaccination) and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
