The Department is seeking an experienced APS5 Program Officer to work towards a program which funds programs and grants for the greater future.

Your new role
Your new role as a program officer is a diverse role that would benefit applicants looking to build upon their experience in standard procedures, administration, data entry, secretariat, knowledge of grants, and greater familiarity within the APS.

Your primary responsibilities are:

- Assisting with program delivery and communication
- Providing policy advice and maintain program guidelines
- Build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project communications in accordance with communication, change and engagement plans
- Providing secretarial support




- Assist with drafting briefing materials and reports

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within the Australian Public Service will lead to your success. You will have to display the ability to be comfortable working within an agile environment and have high level interpersonal skills being able to critically think and apply technical knowledge.
