Are you ready to start your career in the construction industry? Skill Hire is currently looking for motivated individuals to join our Roofing Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. As a GTO, we provide support, training, and development opportunities to apprentices and trainees, ensuring a successful career path in the trades.

Wages:
Standard Apprentice:
- 1st year (has not completed year 12): $14.78
- 1st year (has completed year 12): $16.02
- 2nd year (has not completed year 12): $17.26
- 2nd year (has completed year 12): $18.49
- 3rd year: $20.97
- 4th year: $24.68
Adult Apprentice:
- 1st to 4th year: $24.75
Responsibilities of an Apprentice Carpenter:
- Use hand tools
- Work out calculations
- Climb on roofs
- Build or renovate homes
- Read and interpret plans
- Keep the work site tidy
- Bring positive energy and support your team
Requirements:
- Driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Fully vaccinated
