Dental Health Services Victoria has undertaken a transformative journey to improve oral healthcare in Victoria, pioneering a Value-Based Healthcare model. As winners of the ‘Excellence in value-based healthcare’ award from the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards, DHSV continue to enhance their services and elevate the care provided to patients and the broader population through the integration of value-based healthcare principles.
Services are delivered at their Carlton Based Royal Dental Hospital, Smile Squad – School Dental programs and through a network of 50+ community-based health services.
They are now seeking to recruit a strategic Finance Leader who can spearhead the development of funding models that align with their VBHC and ensure financially sustainable models of care for their patients.
The CFO role is critical to the ongoing success of the organisation and will work closely with the Executive and broader organisation, taking a balanced scorecard approach that looks beyond just the traditional financed based metrics.

- Knowledge of and experience of how digital enhancement can improve processes and outcomes
You will be a team player, who thrives on adding value to the organisation. You have previously effected significant change, brought current thinking yet pragmatic approach and enjoy working with a dedicated and committed workforce.
This is a senior role where you will actively contribute to the whole of organisation strategy, advise the CEO and Board on all financial stewardship and risk issues and proactively develop and present new ways of operating that add to the financial sustainability of services.
You will be CA or CPA qualified and can understand, interpret and apply relevant Federal, State and Local legislation particularly in the areas of financial and risk management, corporate planning and organisational reporting.
