As Endeavour continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer





The Corporate Lawyer is a critical position in our Legal team, responsible for responsible for providing legal advice and governance services to ensure the organisation operates within legal boundaries and complies with relevant legislation. They also work with the Company Secretary to provide company secretariat and governance support to the Board of Directors.

The role will include:

Develop and implement legal and compliance programs, policies, and procedures.

Monitor emerging legal developments and identify opportunities for improvement in legal and governance compliance.

Advise on, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts and manage legal documentation.

Provide legal advice, manage external lawyers, and identify legal and commercial risks.

Monitor proposed and new legislation and regulatory developments.

Manage external legal service providers to ensure efficient and effective legal services.

Assist with privacy matters and develop policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

Deliver training programs and communications on relevant legal issues.

Support company secretary procedures, processes, and administration of meetings.

What will you bring:

Four or more years of experience in Corporate/Commercial law

Tertiary qualifications in Law

Highly desirable to have a Graduate Diploma in Risk and Governance or a similar qualification

Current Practice Certificate as an Australian legal practitioner

Demonstrated capability of building knowledge in other areas of law

Strong understanding and experience in the commercial and legal requirements of the contract lifecycle

Highly developed written communication skills for developing legal, policy, and regulatory documents
