When you join MGI South Queensland, you’ll be doing more than standard compliance – you’ll be helping our clients to achieve their potential through cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and more. We build long-term relationships and have a diverse client base encompassing a range of industries, including hospitality, medical, construction, agribusiness, and not-for-profit.

Due to this growth, we are looking for Intermediate Accountants with a proven ability with tax compliance for all entities and exposure to advisory or a willingness to learn advisory.

To be considered

We are looking for the following experience, capabilities, and qualifications:

- Demonstrated taxation and business knowledge to an intermediate private practice level
- Business advisory exposure (desirable) or an interest in developing taxation and business advisory skills
- Team based work delivery experience, including assisting junior team members
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in assessing client solutions
- Strong communication skills for internal reporting and team-work delivery liaison
- Administrative ability with database entry,



record keeping and correspondence experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and within client teams
- Ability to identify and assist in process improvement
- A desire to progress to Senior Accountant

To be successful in this role you will require Australian Residency. We will also provide training transition cost coverage if this is relevant to you.
