Our client offers a range of libraries at different locations across Sydney Metro.

They are seeking qualified, organised and customer focussed Librarians to join the team on a casual basis with the purpose of supporting for ad hoc and extended temp assignment. To be successful in this role you must be able to travel to the 9 locations.

Benefits

- Hourly Rate from $35-$50 + Super.
- Flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Provide exceptional front line customer service and always strive to deliver a positive experience to its community members.
- Responsible for leading, supporting and developing a team.
- Assist with the day-to-day of library operations (e.g. joining new members and processing loans and returns) and support the delivery and promotion of library services and programs.
- Maintaining strong literacy skills and the ability to problem solve to meet customer needs.

To be successful,



you will possess the following:

- Tertiary qualifications or strong relevant leadership experience within libraries or customer service background essential.
- Excellent people and communication skills and the ability to engage with people from all walks of life.
- Experience in leading and developing a team.
- An ability to solve problems with maturity and by following set procedures/guidelines.
- A flexible and can-do attitude.
