This role will suit an experienced Management Accountant, ideally you will have most recently worked in the Mining, Energy or Mining Services sectors.

Client Details

My client is an ASX listed Mining Services company based near the Perth Airport. They are currently hiring for multiple vacancies within their finance team with a particular need for the Management Accountant skill set.

Description

End of month close and completion of all month end journals and accruals Prepare, review and analyse operations monthly results including providing monthly management accounts to the Operations team Detailed transactional review of operations including coding corrections Participate in monthly BU meetings to improve understanding of operations including providing accounting advice as required Provide appropriate divisions with weekly cost analysis and queries for unusual cost trends Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Business partnering and correspondence with a range of stakeholders in the business Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis where required to the Finance team and/or Operations team Assisting with the half-year and year-end audits including providing support for the compilation of the data required in the annual report Assisting in the yearly budget preparation and quarterly re forecast including uploading forecast and budgets into systems

Profile

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have most recently worked in a similar position, ideally within the Mining or Mining Services sectors. You will also be available on short notice or immediately available to commence in this role.
