This is a casual position offering two weekday shifts per week, working 9:00am-4:00pm.
You will be supporting a client living with dementia, so previous dementia care experience is essential.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for regular casual work while making a genuine difference in the life of an older person.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Providing companionship and meaningful social engagementSupporting a client living with dementia using a calm, person-centred approachAssisting with personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming as requiredPreparing meals and assisting with light household dutiesSupporting community outings,



walks and appointmentsMonitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changesEncouraging independence while ensuring the client's safety and comfortABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will have:Demonstrated experience supporting people living with dementia (essential)Experience in aged care, home care or disability supportCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or equivalent) - desirableA caring, patient and reliable natureExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive insuranceWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOURegular casual shifts - 2 weekdays per week, 9:00am-4:00pmConsistent work with the same clientSupportive and friendly management teamOngoing training and skilled developmentCompetitive hourly rates and excellent working conditionsRewarding work where you can make a real difference every dayIf you have experience supporting people living with dementia and are looking for a rewarding role, we'd love to hear from you.
