As Bar Manager, you'll take responsibility for the overall day-to-day operation of Crafty Cargo Taphouse & Sports Bar.
You'll be on the floor, behind the bar, talking to customers, leading the team and making sure the venue is running the way it should.
This is a hands-on, full time position where you'll take ownership of the venue's daily operations, lead the team and work closely with the owners to continue growing and improving the business.Key responsibilitiesLead, motivate and manage the bar and hospitality teamCreate rosters and effectively manage labour costsRecruit, onboard and train team membersSet and maintain high standards of customer serviceManage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationshipsComplete stocktakes and control wastageMonitor beverage margins and help improve venue profitabilityManage opening and closing proceduresHandle cash, POS procedures and reconciliationsEnsure the venue is clean, organised and presented to a high standardAbout youPrevious experience managing or supervising a busy bar, pub, club or hospitality venueStrong leadership and people-management skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsExperience with rostering and labour managementKnowledge of beverage stock control, ordering and stocktakesGood understanding of margins,
