mechanical fitters for day shuts and Xmas shutdownsTetris Group is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a casual basis.
Based in Smithfield, NSW, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of mechanical fitting projects.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
This position is integral to ensuring our clients receive reliable, well-executed mechanical solutions.Key responsibilitiesAssembling and installing mechanical components, equipment, and systems according to technical specifications and drawingsPerforming precision fitting work using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipmentConducting routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performanceReading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accuratelyInspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and safety requirementsTroubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying solutions efficientlyMaintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocolsCollaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on scheduleRecording work completed and maintaining accurate documentationWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance environmentStrong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instrumentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics,
