What does the job look like?
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, we are seeking a collaborative leader who enjoys problem solving, customer engagement and developing staff. You will be responsible for maintaining an productive and productive warehouse/transport operation working together with your people with every decision you make driven by safety, service and cost. You will be well positioned to ensure we exceed operational and service metrics while finding opportunities to introduce continuous improvement initiatives. Key areas:
- Manage productivity on shift per site targets
- Analyse KPI Reporting both weekly and monthly to improve productivity in line with financial budgets
- Actively foster a co-operative and collaborative relationship through regular personal contact and showing a genuine interest in customer welfare and success
- Meet agreed measures for business continuous improvement and profitability and other Key Performance Indicators
- Create and maintain positive working relationships to develop a team-based culture of co-operation and communication
