We are recruiting for Paralegals to work within our Legal Delivery Centre, Perth.

The Australian Legal Delivery Centre supports the entire Australian office – as a result our Paralegals gain exposure to a broad range of premium quality legal work and have the opportunity to interact with colleagues on a national basis.

Work undertaken relates to all practice groups, with Paralegals working in specialist teams depending on work demands and personal preferences.

You will be joining at an exciting time as we grow our legal delivery centre in Australia, joining a global legal delivery centre of over 65 staff involved in compelling, challenging premium quality work. The team is very much forward thinking and at the front edge of the firms drive to use innovative delivery techniques and the latest software to provide clients with new solutions and servicing options.



Extensive training is available and those who join will quickly develop both their legal and commercial abilities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will work as part of a team, carrying out tasks for specific practice groups. These responsibilities could include
- Discovery for some of the firms large scale matters
- Contract drafting and negotiation
- Providing administrative support to the legal teams for large matters
- Supporting the Real Estate practice with the drafting of lease / tenant agreements
- Legal research tasks
- All Paralegals are encouraged to actively contribute to development of the Centre and the services it provides

ABOUT YOU

We are ideally looking for candidates who;

- Are currently working as a paralegal, studying law or post graduate law students available to work full time
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to grasp tasks quickly
- Possess strong attention to detail, together with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have the ability to think differently and be able to recommend and implement process changes for more efficient working; and
- Flexibility to adapt to different activities
