We are looking for a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and webster room and act as the first point of contact regarding clinical decision making. This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

In this role you will also be responsible for:





- support the team to provide an exceptional consumer experience in line with a forward pharmacy model;
- ensuring ongoing pharmacy compliance with clinical standards, policies and procedures;
- ensuring optimal staffing for service delivery;
- developing and implementing new initiatives, systems or processes to improve consumer and business outcomes;
- dispensing prescriptions and provide empathetic and qualified counselling to patients;
- providing pharmacy services, including vaccinations within your scope of practice.
- supporting the team through training and mentoring to ensure suitable product recommendations and appropriate referral to other health care practitioners.

Required skills & attributes:

- Registered Pharmacist with at least 3 years' experience and evidence of clinical practice.
- Experience in dispensing and appropriate usage of relevant computer software packages.
- Extensive over the counter product knowledge.
- Well developed personal skills that demonstrate effective people management, organisational and time management ability.
- Excellent communication skills that will foster patient empathy and excellent standards of customer service.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional standards in performance, appearance and all relationships.





This is a full-time position, including every 2nd Saturday. 4 days a week could be negotiated, however the successful candidate must be available to work Friday and Saturday.

A willingness to support our View St pharmacy by assisting with the overnight Pharmacist on-call roster (daily on-call allowance is payable) is required, as is availability to be rostered to work some public holidays.

A competitive hourly rate is available (with penalty and overtime rates additional) as well as relocation assistance. Free immunisation and first aid training is available upon commencement
