SGAC is Sydney’s leading leisure venue! Our busy indoor Aquatic Centre is bathed in natural light, spacious and modern, creating an ideal environment for swimmers and team members alike. Currently, we attract 3,000 learn to swim students every week, over 4000 students annually through our schools program and 70,000 visitors a year!

The day to day:

- Assist the Aquatics Manager with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Aquatic Centre is effectively operated, maintained, and utilised; and
- lead a team of pool technical operators & lifeguards to provide vigilant supervision and patron safety of pool users, undertaking water testing to ensure water quality & compliance and operating plant and equipment.

- Introductory knowledge of relevant aquatic industry codes and regulations including the RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Pool Lifeguard responsibilities
- Current Pool Plant Technical Operations Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Accreditation
- Working with Children Check
- Availability to work across a 7-day week
