We are looking for individuals who want to work as part of the production or packing teams at our Jindivick manufacturing plant. You will play an integral role in the cheese making/packing activities with a direct focus on delivering the planned schedules to support a highly efficient production.
Lactalis Jindivick is a local manufacturing plant, which provides quality and tasty soft cheese products for Australian families and the export market. As part of the wider Lactalis Australia group, we aim to work closely with local farmers to source milk that we turn into tasty products for Australian retailers.
Preferred skillset
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proven safety record;
- Attention to detail;
- Reliable and punctual;
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn, willing to ask questions;
- Able to follow work procedures;
- Sound technical aptitude;
- Have the ability to work both individually and in a team environment;
- Valuable problem solving skills;
- Have the ability to work shift and the occasional overtime;
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs; and
- Access to own or reliable transport to site.
