Job Description

OVERVIEW:
Sportradar runs a global network of over 11 , 000 highly trained, quality-controlled data journalists, who are covering sports events from venue or from TV in 33 different sports. We are expanding our Live Scouting Administration department, which manages these scouts across the world. From recruitment, training, coverage planning and scout allocation to quality assurance, our team ensures that our production departments are provided with the highest quality event data. As a member of the Scouting Administration team you will also be an important link between our company and sports federations worldwide. For this role we are looking for someone who will focus on our Cricket operations and therefore applicants should have an excellent knowledge of cricket at both a domestic and international level worldwide, combined with a firm understanding of Cricket’s many rules and regulations.

THE CHALLENGE:

- Handling and Recruitment of Data Journalists worldwide with a special emphasis on Cricket based operations
- Communication with the Data Journalists
- Assignment of the events to the Data Journalists in order to arrange the Sportradar´s schedule in advance
- Verification of the fixtures
- Organization of the Data Journalist´s work before and during the assigned events




- Communication with the Sports Federations partners of Sportradar and respective Clubs and Press Offices
- Prepare requirements and specifications for data collection tools and products
- Coordinate projects across cross-functional teams in product, design, operations and sales

YOUR PROFILE:

- Excellent knowledge of Cricket at all levels
- A passion for Cricket and other sports
- An understanding of Cricket rules and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English – additional languages would be considered as a plus
- General technical understanding and vested interest in technical products and solutions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic about new challenges

- Fluent in English is a must (written and spoken) – any additional language considered as a plus
