Wesley Early Intervention and Counselling Services

- part-time position (30 hours per week)

About the role

This role will be responsible for responding to the growing and diverse administrative need of programs operating under Wesley Early Intervention and Counselling Services umbrella, this includes:

- ensuring a positive first point of contact for clients
- utilising Wesley Missions, client relationship management system (CRM) in order to maintain our, tell your story once philosophy and to ensure clients are referred to the relevant service in a timely manner




- provide other general administrative duties including invoicing and office management etc.

Wesley Mission provides regular supervision and support for all staff as well as range of opportunities for professional development and staff benefits. This is a child-related position and preferred applicants will be required to undergo a working with children’s check and criminal record history check.

- demonstrated ability to work unsupervised as well as an effective team player with a positive can-do attitude
- relates well to a range of people with sound listening and problem-solving skills
- displays emotional maturity and resilience.

Essential criteria

- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- experience dealing with anxious and or aggressive clients
- customer service skills, happy and welcoming
- empathy and good listening skills
- skills in utilising data systems and client records (eg CRM)
- basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel




- ability to exercise discretion/confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- ability to meet deadlines, take appropriate initiative and be accountable
- current Working with Children’s Check and criminal history check.

Desirable criteria

- experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Certificate III or above community service-related course or Business Administration.

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 3, with capacity for salary packaging. Superannuation is paid in addition at 10.50%.
