About the Role
The Project Officer role supports Land Use Victoria's digital initiatives in land administration with the ongoing use and take-up of SPEAR and ePlan by key stakeholders, including surveyors, councils, referral authorities, lawyers and conveyancers. Support tasks include (but are not limited to) service desk functions, user training and stakeholder engagement, online and site meetings, presentations at forums, and actively supporting new firms in the adoption of SPEAR and ePlan.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Spatial Sciences or equivalent, or qualification within cadastral surveying field or equivalent is desirable
- Familiarity with CAD software applications in particular AutoCAD, LISCAD and MicroStation is desirable.
- Capacity to understanding IT concepts and system processes with an emphasis in troubleshooting issues is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Victorian land administration processes that underpins subdivision and other land development is desirable.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
