We are a fully equipped Private Billing Medical Centre and are currently seeking expressions of interest for an registered psychologist to join our team. The position is suitable to either a general or clinical registered psychologist.

About the role

The psychologist provides expert mental health and high standard psychometric assessment, psychological counselling and interventions based on best practice and evidence-based models to clients. The incumbent provides individual counselling, training, workshops, crisis intervention and debriefing, and psychometric assessments as relevant and operates as an active member of a multidisciplinary team,



working cooperatively with the service and external community.

About you

·Hold a Degree qualification in Psychology with extensive mental health and counselling experience

- Current AHPRA Registration, Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances
- Eligible to register to provide psychological services through Medicare.

·Demonstrated experience working with complex and high-risk mental health presentations.

·Demonstrated experience working with young children and families.

·Proven experience with psychometric assessment, particularly paediatric assessment.

- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
- Able to build good relationships with clients and the wider community (i.e. GPs and other referrers)
- Commitment to communicate effectively with clients, referrers, and other healthcare providers via regular reporting as per Medicare and AHPRA guidelines, and documentation via case notes is necessary.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, formulation and evidenced- based treatment
- Enjoy being a part of the team and have the desire to contribute to the growth of the Practice
