Located in beautiful Coffs Harbour is our St Josephs Residential Aged Care home and we are seeking a Residential Manager to manage this great home.
Job Description
The role is to manage the residential aged care home, ensuring a high standard of services are provided to residents; that we engage and retain a talented team of professionals; and that the home is managed in a fiscally responsible way.
The key focus areas are Operational Management, Team Leadership and Safety + Compliance. This encompasses providing leadership and coaching to the clinical, personal care, lifestyle, pastoral care and catering teams. Ensuring all team members are working in a safe manner, closely following policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
What you will need to be considered for this role
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation & Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of the AN-ACC assessment process
- Experience managing a single site residential aged care home encompassing clinical care, food services and administration
- Strong understanding of the clinical governance frameworks
- Robust leadership experience
- Business acumen
- Customer centric approach
- IT savvy
