ICT Systems Administrator - Boeing
Location: Canberra, ACT
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented ICT Systems Administrator to join our team at the Canberra Site.
Boeing Defence Australia provide a wide range of services with the Department of Defence in a dynamic work environment across a spectrum of technologies.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and Operating ICT Systems on site - both software and hardware
- Working to maintain operating effectiveness of systems- including responding to systems faults, maintenance and upgrades
- Keeping up to date with developing, cutting edge technologies that are used on site
- Use maintenance management systems to accurately record maintenance activities
- Ability to use intuition, prioritization and work within defined timeframes
Experience/Qualifications
- Strong experience using Linux systems
- Previous experience in Systems Administrator roles, preferably in the Defence or Corporate environment
- Tertiary or Technical Qualification in Information Communication Technology or Development Methodologies
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
Security Clearance
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Government security requirements. You will be required to successfully undergo an Australian Government positive vetting (PV_ security clearance.
You MUSTY be willing to disclose all required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life (i.e. birth to present time.)
