Tree Worker/Plant Operator

- Salary $62,977.12 - $73,053.70 p/a + super
- Permanent full time role – 38 hours per week - 9 day fortnight
- 2 x Positions

Located 16 kms north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 127,000 residents and is set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified professionals with relevant qualifications, or extensive experience to work within our Operations Team.

Reporting to the Streetscape Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Undertaking assessments and making recommendations with regard to tree health, stability and safety, and then removing, pruning,



cross cutting and cleaning up of sites where tree maintenance has occurred.

Required experience & skills:

Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent is essential, along with experience in the use of Arboricultural equipment and comprehensive knowledge of tree pruning and removal techniques and equipment.

First Aid, Traffic Control, Level 1 Chainsaw Operation certificates and MR licence are also required – or a willingness to undertake training to obtain.
