About us

Sandringham Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Receptionist who can multitask while working well under pressure in a very busy Bayside practice. Our ethos is to work up all cases to the best of our ability whilst providing excellent customer service. At present, our team consists of 3 vets, 4 nurses, 2 kennel hands and 3 receptionists. We are now growing and looking to expand our team. We have a close-knit and supportive work environment and offer flexibility while working in a beautiful location minutes from the beach and within a cosy village filled with cafes and restaurants.

Qualifications & Experience

- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years customer service experience, a very pleasant, personable & friendly attitude, has very good computer literacy skills & the ability to adapt to different computer operating systems.
- Candidates must have the ability to work the required amount of hours.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Including but not limited to, welcoming clients & their pets, answering telephones & taking messages, booking appointments, discharging patients, corresponding with other clinics & hospitals and composing & responding to emails.
