KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to be based at our offices in Perth, WA.

Task Involved:

- Responsible for assisting the Operations Commercial / Contracts Manager in all contractual / commercial operations for the Project in line with contract specifications and obligations.
- Assist with the development, review and negotiation of contract variations to the Client as per instructions by management.
- Responsible for commercial Tenderer reviews and issuing of clarifications from the review and any subsequent negotiations with clients to close out the Contract.
- Liaising with Estimators to highlight commercial risks to ensure mitigation within Tender submissions.
- Involved in preparation of project handover documents for the agreed Contracts to the onsite operations team.
- Production of internal Project Category document to enable level of internal approval for tender submissions.




- Summary of clients tender Commercial and Contractual information and presentation of the information at board review to attain approval note of Tender submission to clients.
- Assist in the development, review and negotiation of subcontractor agreements and issuing variations to work orders.
- Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions
- Responding to inquiries and resolving problems resolution of disputes concerning commercial and contractual aspects of the Project.
- Drafting of formal letters to the Client including collation of supporting documents.
- Collation and analysis of data to produce reports concerning Project budgeting, expenditure, performance and completion outcomes.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning commercial and contractual aspects of the Project.
- Preparation of claims documentation, including commercial and contractual justification and substantiation of claim.
- Ensure project personnel adhere to legislation and industry standards in commercial / contractual aspects.
- Ensure compliance with ethical practices and company policies and procedures.




- Utilise clear communication channels to ensure that a full understanding of the contractual / commercial requirements is achieved amongst project personnel.
- Liaising with insurance brokers to limit insurance exposure on future Contracts.
- Involved with Insurance review of ongoing workers compensation claims and reviewing any commercial risk impact.
- Commercial approval of suppliers for onboarding within the procurement system.

To be considered for the roles you will need to demonstrate following:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar commercial role on large projects within the Mining, Oil and Gas and Power Industries.
- Understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of project activities, Company reputation and the importance of professional document presentation in Client submissions.
- Contract and/or commercial experience with project services including fabrication, painting, insulation, scaffolding and access management.
- Strong verbal and written English language skills for professional reports and written correspondence, particularly with Contractual / Commercial terminology.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task, together with the capacity to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of multiple computer applications including the 2010 Microsoft Office Package.
