The Opportunity

Civmec has secured the award of a major construction contract for the Covalent Lithium Refinery Project in Kwinana. To support the delivery of this landmark project we are seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers with a strong background in delivering SMP and vertical projects in the resources sector to take the next step in their career and join our existing major projects team.

- Immediate start, permanent project-based role until 2024!
- Locally based project in Kwinana, Monday to Friday!
- Rare chance to be part of Civmec’s largest civil, SMP, and electrical construction project!

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide the technical engineering support to the project including technical queries, inspections and interpretation of design deliverables;
- Interface and be involved with other project functions such as quality, commercial, construction and project controls;




- Assist the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager with project management tasks as required;
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to support the project

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in civil, structural, mechanical, engineering
- Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ideally minimum 2 years previous project experience on Construction SMP Projects ideally in the mining sector, oil and gas sector
