About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Poly Welder/Multi Skilled Operator to join our team in Moranbah QLD to start asap.

Role requirements and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- High Regard to Safety
- Current Australian drivers' licence - essential
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
- Sound understanding of Polyethylene piping and fittings terminology
- Installation of dewatering equipment
- Butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipelines
- Electro-fusion welding of polyethylene pipeline
- Setting up and loading poly-welding machines;
- Load and Unload trucks with equipment and machinery;
- Operate equipment and machinery as necessary;
- Complete Pre-start checklists on equipment and vehicles.
- Other duties as directed by your Supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience with butt weld polyethylene plastic pipelines, electro-fusion weld polyethylene pipelines
- Knowledge of pipe works and installations;
- PMBWELDS01A - Butt Weld Polyethylene Plastic Pipelines;
- PMBWELDS02A – Electro fusion Weld Polyethylene Pipelines;
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision

- QLD Coal Board Medical
- Understanding of pipe works and installations;
- Exposure to heavy vehicles and machinery including excavators and loaders
- Mine site experience
