We are a leading Construction and Manufacturing Company located SOR.
Our Jandakot Concrete Division is looking for a Formwork Carpenter with Concrete experience to assist our team as a hands-on Leading Hand.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Co-ordinator, this role requires a commitment to providing technically sound product knowledge and is responsible for:
1. Executing the job packs by leading the labour teams/contractors/trades etc – including ensuring the labour component:
- Maintaining quality standards on the finish of products
- Working to schedule
- Working safely
- Organising pre-start – tools / materials / equipment.
- Executing the daily schedule set by Operations.
- Maintaining equipment: ensuring all equipment is organised and cleaned / maintained for use.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Conducting weekly toolbox meetings addressing issues highlighted by themselves and the Project Co-ordinator.
- Maintaining a culture within the working teams that promote:
- Safety
- Mental wellness
- Production efficiency

The Person:
- Technically minded with solid attention to detail with good time management skills.
- Able to read & interpret plans/shop drawings.
- Create material take offs required to complete allocated jobs.
- an ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to lead & direct a labour team of 5-7 guys ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- Trades background in carpentry a must with formwork experience.
- Concrete finishing/steel fixing experience welcomed.
