Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

We are seeking to employ an experienced Project Manager to supervise the in office activities of our projects and ensure the project outcomes are delivered in a timely manner and according to project specifications Manage personnel, plant, equipment, subcontractors, undertake client liaison, and provide team leadership.

The successful applicant will work on either a 3 and 1 roster or 2 and 1 roster and will be required to live and work in remote areas across the Northern Territory.

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects in accordance with specifications, budgets and required timeframes
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience in similar work environment with an excellent knowledge of road building
- Appropriate trade qualifications and/or experience, preferably as an operator and/or operator supervisor




- Previous supervisory experience, and willingness and ability to oversee and direct staff to achieve required outcomes
- Solid understanding of and ability to implement Workplace Health and Safety legislation requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, and organisation skills
- Good IT/computer/technology/GPS skills and ability to utilise on the job
- Punctual and reliable approach to work hours.
- Current NT HR licence
- Willingness and ability to work away from home, in a work camp situation
