The opportunity

The project manager will support the delivery and management of large-scale infrastructure improvement projects to scope quality time and cost restraints.

This role will be a fixed term position for 24 months with possible extension.

Responsibilities will include:

- Controlling project budgets and reporting on project progress
- Ensure nominated projects are completed to agreed time, cost, quality, scope requirements and meet Government and Agency objectives
- Lead and manage the preparation of concept and detail designs
- Oversea quality project documentation, including such as estimates of cost and reports
- Deliver technical tasks to comply with quality,



safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls
- Implement quality plan/process in compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Determine project risks and develop a project Risk Management Plan (RMP), monitor and control risks through RMP
- Communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders and respond to information requests from the client in relation to the project
- Lead and manage tender assessment, procurement requirements and contract documents to compliance

About you

- Previous experience working as a project manager on large scale infrastructure road projects
- Previous experience leading and guiding direct reports
- Public interface communication skills
- Risk management experience
- Contractor management experience
- Related degree qualification such as Construction Management / Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience in the preparation of tender documentation, tendering procedures and overseeing professional service and construction contractors
- Drivers Licence

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Level 4 $150,887 - $160,995 + Super
