Parks Victoria are looking for a Ranger Field Services officer who will deliver on ground works including maintenance of assets, infrastructure and facilities and the field delivery of environmental projects.

About the role

The role will be responsible for the delivery of the Fire Recovery Program and supporting day-to-day park management for the Ovens area. Core duties will include park visitor faciltiy maintenance, environment program delivery and rebuilding and construction of fire impacted assets and sites. The role includes opportunity for on-the-job-training and development and working inthe unique Alpine environment.

Were looking foresomeone with

- Demonstrated experince in maintenance and operation of small equipment such as chainsaws/brushcutters
- Demonstarted skills in the maintenance and construction of park assets , including signs, fencing and walking tracks.
- Experience in working in small teams in remote areas is desirable
