Part of the Knoxbrooke Enterprises group, Yarra View & Bushland Flora nurseries are leading wholesale plant nurseries located in beautiful Mount Evelyn, Victoria. We produce a broad range of plants across our 3 nursery sites and have customers across the south eastern states of Australia that include retailers, landscapers, golf clubs and construction firms. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Selling our wide range of quality plants to customers will be your key responsibility. You will work with a diverse group of customers to provide solutions from quality, presentable and in demand plants to nursery retailers, to contract grows for councils and other growers within the industry. The focus of the role will be a strategic balance of office-based sales activities and on-the-road customer visits. You will use a mix of telesales, social media, and other on-line techniques to maximise opportunities and your customer visits will showcase our quality products to current and prospective customers.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Completing a weekly on-site stock review to ensure stock list is current and accurate;

Assisting with merchandising requirements for major retail chains;





Strategic external sales activities such as spec vans, on-site consultations and trade expos;

Forecasting for future sales to ensure we have the right product at the right time;

Sales processing, product range and pricing reviews;

Willing to travel within Victoria and interstate for a minimum of 2 nights per week on average (company vehicle will be provided).

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have at least 3 years’ proven B2B sales experience and be able to clearly demonstrate the use of active selling strategies to develop and maintain customer relationships. Ideally, you will also have experience working in a large wholesale plant nursery or other horticultural business environment along with strong plant knowledge. You will also be able to demonstrate:

A customer service focus that is second to none;

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems;

Experience in using CRM systems (including reporting);

The ability to interact and communicate with people of diverse abilities;

Current Victorian drivers’ licence with an excellent driving record.

Evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination or authorised medical exemption

Willingness to undertake a NDIS Worker Screening Check

Evidence of the right to work in Australia
