City of Gold Coast are looking for a signs and lines labourer to assist in their workshop.

Your new company
Hays Recruitment is seeking a hands on labourer to assist the team on behalf of the City of Gold Coast Council.

Your new role
You will be working within a workshop, working amongst a small team repairing any signs and lines on the Gold Coast. Duties include:

- Working with aluminium, guillotine and metal folding machines.
- Use of small power tools and hand held tools
- Respraying any faded lines in car parks or roads
- Removing any objects that block Council signage

What you'll need to succeed
You will need vinyl cut sign making experience as well as cutting,



weeding and applying application tape. Basic computer skills such as using Word, Excel and some graphic programs (Sign Balzer) to design the signs. Plotter to cut out the vinyl is also a must.
In conjunction we look for:

- Construction white card
- C class licence or MR licence (highly desired)
- 6-8 months experience labouring
