We’re looking for a creative and detailed-oriented Social Media Manager to take ownership of social output for a number of global clients.

You will have a proven background (min. five years) in publishing or agency, and be comfortable concepting, creating, and publishing social content that gets online communities fired up — particularly on TikTok and Instagram.

You will be working directly with clients, leading always-on activity from ideation to execution across both consumer and corporate worlds. As such, you’ll be a calm and capable communicator with a solutions-focused mentality.

As part of the Editorial team, you’ll stay on top of trends and move at the speed of internet culture. You see yourself as a strong solo worker, but also the ultimate team player. We’re hard workers, big thinkers, care about the small stuff, and like to have fun.

ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
The nature of We Are Social’s business requires a high level of flexibility, common sense and versatility. While the specific content of your role is clearly defined,



the nature of the demands placed on us and the creativity of our campaigns means that the role will evolve over time and needs a ‘can do’ approach to picking projects up and making them happen.

We expect you to show confidence and competence in the key areas below:

- A keen interest in cultural and social trends
- A proven content creator that’s confident delivering planned and reactive assets, particularly across TikTok and Instagram
- Delivering clean copy in the correct tone of voice, ensuring it’s on-brand and always on time.
- Adept at finding the key insight/hook that will capture attention
- Able to craft an inspiring and clear deck (in Google Slides) to present work
- Accountable for deadlines and thinking ahead, preempting any problems
- Confident dealing with clients and being able to collaborate respectively
- Be able to deal with feedback constructively and dispassionately
- Ability to think both strategically and creatively
- Strong social platform knowledge across the major platforms, while curious about new platforms and developments
- Remaining solutions-focused at all times
- Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
- Represent We Are Social as the content lead on your clients
- Be an editorial champion,



committed to building knowledge in the always-on space
- Being calm under pressure and with a capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in organic and paid social media

- Ability to assess key learnings from campaigns and incorporate them into your next work
