Your new company
Our client, a local company specialised in the design and construction of commercial and government buildings, is currently recruiting a Site Supervisor to work on various projects in the Darwin area.

Your new role
You will be responsible to coordinate the construction works on site and to monitor the delivery of projects (value up to $20m) to meet the company's requirements for quality, safety, and budget. This role is a permanent and full-time position based in Darwin.
Your key responsibilities will be:

- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
- Regular internal auditing to ensure conformance to requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor scope of works.
- Monitor the project construction schedule.
- In conjunction with the Project Managers, liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve issues.
- Oversee subcontractor daily operations. In conjunction with the Project Managers,



analyse various cost/construction options to determine most cost-effective alternatives.
- Daily and fortnightly programming.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience in a Supervisor role on a Construction site in the commercial Building sector.
- Certificate 4 in Building Construction or Trade Certificate.
- Leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Understanding of WHSE legislative requirements and ability to communicate this to staff.
- Ability to manage risks and identify any possible or actual risk throughout life of project.
- Competent in crisis and conflict management with subcontractors.
- White Card.
