Willis Setouts & Surveys is seeking a motivated and experienced Survey Manager to lead our small team of surveyors in the Vic East Region. About the Role:

As the Survey Manager for the Vic East Region, you will:

- Lead a small team of 3 surveyors, setting the standard through hands-on site work until around 12pm each day.
- Oversee all aspects of surveying work, including quality assurance checks, both pre-site and post-site.
- Manage project budgets, invoicing and job allocations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Quote and win new projects, maintain client relationships and attend meetings.
- Balance site work with management tasks, ensuring your team is motivated, well-trained and performing at their best.
- Collaborate with other managers to support cross-regional workload balancing.




- Work closely with the Administration Officer to manage client queries, invoicing and more.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Management experience in land, civil, engineering or commercial surveying.
- Industry surveying qualifications preferred but not essential (Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability to balance site work with management responsibilities, ensuring both are executed to high standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, meeting targets and managing budgets.
- A positive attitude with a focus on consistency, care and results.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites within Melbourne's East/Eastern Victorian region.

- Competitive salary package ($90,000 – $100,000), plus a company vehicle, phone and laptop.
