Your Impact!

As a teacher at Goodstart Toowoomba, Healy Street you will inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.

About our Centre : Goodstart Toowoomba, Healy Street is located in a leafy residential area close to the CBD. We are a 74 place service,



and we provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children from nursery through to kindergarten. We also provide vacation care. We have a team of warm, caring and qualified educators with a supportive Centre Leadership Team. We have extraordinary new outdoor play spaces with a mix of natural environment and man-made safe-fall areas. There are beautiful leafy surrounds with a mud kitchen, vege gardens, a construction area and lots of space for running, exploring and discovering.

You’ll help achieve this by :

- Having a Bachelor of Early Childhood OR Studying towards your Bachelor
- Having passion and enthusiasm for Early Childhood Education
- Having the initiative to drive innovation within the Centre
- Having extensive knowledge of the EYLF and understanding of the NQF/NQS
- Having the passion and experience to work with children with challenging behaviours
