Trade Assistant

The Role
The Trade Assistant is responsible for assisting with all aspects of work in the Carpentry Workshop across infrastructure, plant, and equipment to deliver high-quality service to Cabrini Health customers.

The role is permanent full-time and based within the Engineering team at Cabrini Malvern.

Key responsibilities include:

Basic assistance with all types of trade with a focus on carpentry and painting skills.

Must work in a safe and reliable operational manner.

Provides support to the Lead Carpenter as required.

Participates in all activities as necessary to deliver a safe and compliant facility.





Needs to be flexible to adhere to the needs of the engineering team as required.

About you
Looking for a competent trade assistant with carpentry and painting skills within a workshop environment, highly desirable.

You will have:

White Card (preferred), which is a general construction induction card, is required for workers who want to carry out construction work / trades.

A current and valid Victorian Driver’s licence

Will have operated hand & power tools.

Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures in a workshop environment.
