About the opportunity

The Continuous Improvement Specialist works closely with the Construction, Operations and Procurement teams, reports to the Procurement Manager and is part of the MJH ETS Project team. The key focus of this role is to review continuous improvement opportunities within the construction of houses. More specifically, you will:

- Utilise tools and methodologies to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights to determine the symptoms and root cause of the issues that lead to the ETS
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand the broader context of issues impacting margin
- Develop and suggest methods to eliminate or mitigate both the root causes and symptoms of identified issues
- Value engineer solutions to ensure the improvement or maintenance of finalised margin
- Monitor the implementation of proposed solutions, ensuring adherence to established strategies




- Conduct regular assessments to verify the effectiveness of implemented measures in resolving ETS-related concerns

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
- Hold a qualification within Finance, Business, Building and Construction, Six Sigma or Project Management
- Exceptional computer skills with advanced data analytics
- An outstanding attention to detail with a drive to meet deadlines
- Proven experience providing cost effective business solutions
- Understanding of the Building Code of Australia
- Knowledge of BusinessCraft, Companion stems and Power BI will be highly advantageous

You will hold a current-driver’s license and have regular access to a reliable vehicle.
