Full Time Client Service Officer role based in Hobart CBD working with a growing Financial Planning Firm.

Your new company
Based in the Hobart, this Financial Planning Firm provide premium service to a wide range of clients with the aim to remain a business with a personal touch and also depth of experience and talent. Due to their outstanding customer service, their client base has grown and therefore they have the need for a full time permanent Client Service Officer to join their team in the new year.

Your new role
As the Client Service Officer your core duties will be providing support to the Senior Advisors. Reporting into the Client Services Team Leader, you'll be responsible for;

- Responding to client queries over the phone, via email and face to face
- Manage appointments/schedule, including co-ordination of all client review appointments
- Implementing investment transactions and fund transfers
- Assist during client appointments as required
- Liaise with 3 rd parties (accountants, Centrelink, insurance companies etc)
- Update client portfolios in preparation for client reviews
- Preparations of compliance documents for the advice team
- Recording of client details,



investments, review dates etc. into CRM
- Control of outstanding client correspondence including invoicing for fees and payment follow up
- Other adhoc duties

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you'll have excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal), and a proven track record of general administration gained by practical experience the Financial Planning sector. You'll have excellent time management skills, outstanding attention to detail, and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You'll also have a passion for improvement, the ability to work in a fast paced workplace and has a high level of self-motivation. Previous experience with Xplan software will be highly advantageous.
