What we are looking for:

We currently have a number of openings to join our collections/ payments team in our Newcastle office. We’re looking for high performing individuals with a background in customer service. These roles cover inbound and outbound calls, emails and text messages to service our customers.

Responsibilities for these positions include:

- Negotiate repayment plans and set up payment arrangements
- Monitor loan accounts for delinquency
- Contact borrowers to collect overdue loan payments




- Investigate accounts that remain delinquent and take appropriate action
- Inbound communications with borrowers regarding delinquent accounts
- Update borrower accounts on any changes
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

- Excellent communication skills/ phone manner and ability to interact with external customers and internal partners
- Previous experience in financial services would be highly regarded but not essential
- Being proactive with high levels of energy and integrity
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
